How We Drive Impact
The GrandPals National Program, managed by the Centre for Studies in Aging and Health (CSAH) at Providence Care, provides centralized support for Affiliate Organizations located across Canada. CSAH manages staff to help equip and prepare organizations to implement the GrandPals Program locally.
This includes activities like:

Facilitating a national Community of Practice for implementers
Providing coaching, training, support materials and seed funding
Supporting the process to match classrooms and Affiliate Organizations
Providing technical support for Affiliate Organizations
Developing and coordinating the evaluation process
Analyzing the evaluation results and sharing learnings and outcomes
More specifically, Affiliate Organizations and participants have access to ongoing support to start-up, implement, evaluate and grow the GrandPals Program locally.
An Affiliate Organization is responsible for implementing the program locally. This typically includes activities like:
Participating in a Community of Practice
Connecting and recruiting participants for the Program
Equipping and preparing participants for the Program
Contextualizing the Program through co-creation sessions
Organizing the Program for older adults and students to participate
Disseminating and collecting evaluation tools
